The end of desire alway hides behind a curtain. Whenever there is a chance for reconciliation, he knows not. Whenever there is a time for reaching out, he tries not.
Does he relish distance? Or standing inches away from the door frame, dare not to step in, but pray the sunlight to touch his love, for he then waits in place, longing.
What is love if promised? Where is treasure if not covered by silk? It is only in longing, that every kiss is tender. Thus the story of Malfoy and Potter tells, 'impossible friends, forever enemy. Yet, desiring still.'
